Thanks the a tag team grooming effort of Dave and Clay and Denny, abetted greatly by a veritable armada of headlamp festooned snowshoers and back country skiiers, the lower road, upper trails and meadow is groomed for skating. Narrow in places, but well groomed. Go team!
Mid meadow trail is still claimed by the demons of deep snow. The back country conditions are pretty darn good, so if you want to, start reclaiming the mid meadow with backcountry skis/snowshoes. Pick up and reset buried wands. Hover along the edge to define the trail for the corps of groomers. Then smash down the middle. Smash it good.
